
Deborah’s School of Shoemaking
Handmade shoemaking classes forming now. School located in West Asheville, two miles from downtown. All students must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Courses designed to teach each student how to make themselves a pair of custom leather shoes from scratch. Each class time lasts four hours and runs for ten lessons. Some weeks there will be homework, for example – skiving your pattern pieces or sanding your soles. Classes held Saturday afternoons or by arrangement according to student availability.
